Why do we say “fall in love”? Doesn’t that phrase have quite a negative ring to it? I mean, considering the pain and sacrifice you have to put up with in a relationship… this phrase is like, TOTALLY UNFAIR!
Now that I’m ABSOLUTELY sure that I’m in love, I can confidently say that I didn’t FALL in love. I ROSE up to it.
Love is not a weakness. Once you decide to look beyond someone’s faults and mistakes, and accept that person for whatever and whomever he is, damn… that takes a real lot of guts. Taking such a big risk by putting your heart on the line without a guarantee that you won’t get hurt… sometimes, with a guarantee that you WILL… now, THAT is strength and courage enacted.
